Marguerites, Dianthus, campanula, Agapanthus and lavender need instruction
As I'm new to this please forgive my ignorance re obviously basic rules. I use pots to soften hard landscape features around my home. I usually through out everything at the end of the summer and start again next year. However this year I am trying to be more active in the small rear garden and wondered if it is worth while saving some of these potted plants.

I have just acquired a mini greenhouse do I put all the pots in there and just keep them lightly watered all winter until the frosts are over.
I have White Clips campanula they don't look great. A small trailing variety without label which has a sweet little blue flower and tiny spiky leafs, Agapanthus Northern Star, English Lavender and hosta Wide Brim. Unfortunately no labels on the dianthus. The Marguerites are quite tall so do i cut them back and how far down should i clip.
Thank you for your help I look forward to giving this a go.
