Hi Edd
No flowers
If you imagine a circle of a series of umbrella spikes 1/2 inch wide sticking out every 3 inches up a stem like a pagoda
Pale green
One of the Euphorbias. All have irritant sap.
My money is on Euphoria lathyris because it's one of the most common plants to turn up and be posted for ID

I havent planted it and I think its a weed or some plant has just seeded
The spikes are stiff
Friends...sorry not indentified yet
This could become like the search for Lord Lucan......who is in my shed !!
Sounds like one of my euphorbias, but I don't know the name as a bird sowed it for me!
Not one of these then?

Thats the one !!
Many thanks NC
What is it called and what is the white sap
That's Euphorbia lathyris as predicted
This crops up uninvited in so many gardens. I think it must be distributed by aliens.
I don't know the chemistry of what's in there.

She will get her gloves and pull them up tomorrow
