Calla Lilies

Please help! We have moved in our new house last year, which has so many Calla Lilies. We have been trying to dig them out,but it seems that we have more and more little ones coming.  How can we get rid of them ?? It seems impossible ...........

Thank you

  • If you truly have too many just keep digging them out. See if your neighbours or friends would like some, or ask on the seed swap thread if anyone wants them. You'll have to wait for the small ones to get bigger to get the whole plant out.

Yes . We have around a 100 of them in a standard terraced house garden.

I have already gave some to my neighbour.

Any other way to kill their roots ?

    Thank you very much

  • They are not that hardy, so exposing them to frosts will kill them. Are you sure they are Calla Lilly?

Would be interesting to see an image of the plants.

Why do you want to get rid of them as they look gorgeous.

Now our little garden is full with them. We would like to plant something else.

    They are just multiplying...............

Never managed to keep them alive long enough to see them flower like that.

  • Certainly Calla Lily. Digging them up should get rid of them.
