Advice on Perennials
Hello,
I am a new gardener - keen to get started on a bare garden.
I would like to grow *lots* of perennial flowers from seed for future years as garden is big , but I expect that I wont be ready to plant them all out next year as I am still sorting out beds etc. Is is feasible to raise them in modules and then plant out in nursery beds, moving them when I am ready to do so? Do they transplant OK, or only at certain times.
Any advice very welcome!

Yes. Some you can transplant at most times in the year except the height of summer or winter. Be sure to water very well before and after moving. Ask about specific plants and we should be able to help further. Why not grow some direct sow annuals/perennials too?
Hi Charlie
Cheers - i will do it then - i am planning to sow annuals and some perennials into first beds next year - but know i will need a lot more plants in later years, so start early and save cash
