Salix Flamingo

Jack 3Jack 3 Posts: 360

Hello folks!

I bought a little Salix Flamingo, earlier this year and it's grown really well and is beautiful.

I want to move this and was wondering if now is a good time and if not when?

It is still in leaf.

Cheers!

Move it now before it really gets cold, there's plenty of moisture about, add some root grow over the roots and into the planting hole.

    Thanks Dave! Much appreciated.

Thanks Verdun, I moved it earlier. It was too close to a spirea I planted. It's now in a nice spot which looks a lot better. I have to say it's one of my favourite buys of the year. It was a little £12 jobby. It's grown and flourished and looked great all year.

My Salix Flamingo still looks as good as it did during the Summer! I'm guessing the leaves will drop like flies in the next few weeks though.

I guess it helps that there hasnt been any frost here image

Thanks for the advice Verdun, I will remember to do that. Yes mine also still looks as good ever at the moment.
