Chicky - I like the idea of ferns, does anyone know what they are like for pollen? I'm thinking that since my partner has very bad hayfever it would be nicer to keep the flowers low pollen at the front.
Steve - not a chance! The LR is my vehicle & very much needed for towing fire engines in the day time and moving tons of horse manure for the vegetable plot in the evening!
Ferns do not produce pollen and the geraniums have short flowering period - therefroe produce pollen for a short time with more interest through their foliage.
