more seed sowing queries
in Plants
I thought I had mummified flowers on my Hibiscus Blue Bird and then discovered they were the seed pods, bursting with ripe seed.
I can't resist a challenge so have to give them a go but when to sow? If you have tried them how did you get on? Otherwise I will do what I did with the agapanthus and sow now with one pot on the kitchen windowsill and another in the cold greenhouse.
I still can't decide what to do with the seeds of the bignonia - sow now or in the spring?
any advice/experience would be welcome

Hibiscus seed themselves everywhere here, I would just sow them in a pot now and leave them outside over winter, unless the temperatures drop very low. They should germinate well in spring.
OK thank you both. As soon as I've finished potting up bulbs and planting out wallflowers I'll pop them in a pot or.two and see what happens. No need to chastise me for being so late with everything, - I KNOW - but it's not been a good year for me.
Wish somebody could help with the bignonia though - will google and see what comes up.
good idea - will do thank you Philippa
