Peruvian Lily
Hi, I have been given what I think is a peruvian lily in a pot. I don't know anything about them, being mostly a veg gardener. It is in flower and has a lot of buds. Could anyone tell me if I should keep it indoors or in an unheated greenhouse overwinter and then plant it outside in the spring? Thanks.

They are hardy in the UK, alstromeria, is the more widely used name. Depending on variety they can be compact or absolutely invasive beasts. I'd keep it in an unheated GH over winter, see what you get later in the year and go from there.
Thanks Dave, that's very helpful. I will follow your advice and see what happens.
