Italian Cyprus care

Have just planted some Italian Cyprus and wonder whether anyone can advise if I should try to keep the branches at the top from splaying out by gently securing them with a bit of string or some other light support? ......or will they look after themselves and keep their column shape without any interference from me? One is 2.5m tall and 2 are 1.5m tall. Any advice re their care would be appreciated.

Thanks pansy face. I live in Cambridgeshire so not much snow and seldom strong wind. Will take the advice re tying in for first year.....it'll make me feel better at least!
