Hia Gg the garden was in a terrible state the photos I put on don't tell the full story .
We had to move roughly 300 bricks, clear away broken glass, move paving stones which I used as a floor in my greenhouse, break down broken sheds and pallets and obviously every weed known to Britain..
But we chipped away at it and now we have the result you see today..
Hia GG i've looked at your photo's and yes it'll take time to sort but i'm sure the end result will be great. The soil is good as you have loads of weeds growing there.
What i did was draw up a plan and if you stick to the plan it'll come together in no time. You might not get to grow much this year but next year it will be great and all those things you made out of pallets will have a new home and will look the part.
Is there much rubbish amongst it all so you can either re-use or just burn it?
Can you put a fence up for a bit privacy and most importantly a shed up and greenhouse up.
Hia GG i'm not too sure on the size of our plot probs a little smaller than a tennis court maybe but the first thing i did was cut all the weeds down so i could see whats what underneath thats when i realized i had a big job on.After that i did a bit at time .
We got the plot in August 2013 got it all cleared in with fence and gate up in October 2013 then after that we put our personal touches on it which we are still doing today.
Hope this helps and have you decided on the plot you were offered?
Here is a couple of photo's of what we have been doing .We have planted the cabbages and corn.Next we are going to plant the nasturtiums in the flower boxes as i think they are ready. You may think this is early but i was talking to my neighbour when he was planting his out and he said the seasons aren't what they used to be and he always plants his this time of year.
Baza not met my potential neighbours yet, planning on going to check out the allotment site and the plot out again on the weekend see if any of them are there
Great pics my cauliflowers are about the same size as your cabbage they are in the coldframe now getting there to planting out
Like your pictures, your shed looks about the right size I would want
the nasturtiums you are growing did look a nice size to get planted

Rubbish old shopping trolley, lots of plastic bits, lots of broken bits of glass shards, concrete rubble
Not sure about fence can put up wind break netting around plot
Can have a 6x6 shed is the biggest allowed and a greenhouse would be brill not had one of them before - do have to get permission before hand
Baza what size is your plot?
What was the first area you tackled?

Is your plot in between others?
The brown shed is 6ft x 4ft and im between others and they are great neighbours told me loads of stuff.
Have you met your potential neighbours because if you have good ones it makes all the difference.
