20C & wall to wall sunshine in Suffolk - lovely to be gardening in a T shirt on last day of Oct.
My plants are a bit confused tho' - a few spring bulbs popping up already - a few foxgloves & hesperus in flower, roses in bloom, cosmos & hardy geraniums still going strong - all amongst the autumn leaves & the flowers of my winter 'doers' - hellebores & vibernum bodnantense (gorgeous scent in this warmth). Truly four floral seasons in one day today
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
The only thermometer I have is in the fish tank but can tell how warm its been today. Lovely though it is, I think the sooner we get 'normal' temps the better.
I wouldn't mind a cold snap to ensure all the flies and slugs get a bit of what's coming to them! The frogs in the garden don't seem the least bit interested in doing their duty.
I've been digging and putting sand and gravel down for the paths and had to strip off a bit... keeps the natives away though...
Very strange weather right enough but I'm happy about it as I've had no heating since Wednesday. Man coming back tomorrow - hopefully with the right bits...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

20C now and pitch dark outside. I just put candles in the pumpkin...all fairly odd.
Just took daughter to work and it was 16 degrees

Seeing mention of slugs has reminded me that I didn't put any slug pellets down when I planted my onions today
