Oh, FG...I'm finally getting my new oil boiler (£3600) installed next weekend. It broke down in Feb/ March, the other night I was at the Theatre in Kings Lynn and washed my hands in the ladies' loo and luxuriated in the feel of HOT WATER COMING OUT OF A TAP. Thank heavens I have an electric shower and a cold feed washing machine...but it's taken me this long to save for it and try to get an installer who can do oil. image They are as rare as hen's teeth.

At my last house we had to do the same art. Had only been in the house a few months.  My partner at the time knew the guy as he'd done work at his last house and he did it for cash so we saved a bit of money. Still three grand though and it took two days to be put in image

    Electric shower here too image
