  • Hi I have an orchid I have had it some years never flower until this year I was delighted  but the  bds came and just went yellow and never flowered I have fed it  what  have i done wrong the leaves are very healthy  thank you

    Sandra, you should open a new thread with a suitable title like ' orchid buds dying' and it's more likely to be seen by someone who can help you

    Thats normally because they are too hot or dry, make sure it isnt too warm, and spray the leaves a couple of times a week in winter, rainwater if you can.
  • I have always had the answer I wanted and use the site as when needed. I can't say anything bad about it.

     First time for me on this particular corner of mumsnet.  Sound advice here.

    Not sure what your point is @bede. You dredged up an ancient thread recently to comment on it with this 'mumsnet' term, for some weird reason. Now you've made another fairly pointless comment, quoting an earlier post, which I can't fathom. 

    Can you explain please?  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
