Gardening Survay for my Product Design Degree

Hello would appreciate it if you could fill in this short questionnaire for one of my product design projects at University. I am looking into making gardening more appealing to the younger generation and to people that have busy lifestyles, or perhaps don't have the room to properly engage in gardening.

Any feedback would much be appreciated

Yes, but it's fair to say that you don't need a huge amount of space to do some interesting gardening. Almost all my plants (Except veg) live on my 30 square metre (300 square feet) balcony. And I have a lot of fun!

  • pansyface thanks for your feedback. I have amended the questionnaire and made it less detailed and confusing. I, understand that for me its obvious what the motives behind the questions are, but for others it may be confusing.

philippa smith2 thanks for your feedback. basically my research has found that not everyone has the time or the means to engage in gardening. I find this to be due to many reasons for example a decrease in home ownership, a lack of space caused by urbanisation, modern home building, busy lives, long working hours, absences from home due to increased travel and a view by the younger generation that gardening is a hobby for older people. With my survey I am trying to identify problems preventing people from gardening in order for me to identify potential products. With that in mind if you have any suggestions on additional questions I would appreciate it.

I would appreciate it if you would fill in the new amended questionnaire.
