Thuja plicata 'Atrovirens'

Hi
I've just planted a Thuja hedge and I'm not sure whether to stake or not. The hedge is protected from wind and in a sheltered position. Also, should I encourage the pants to have one leader or just leave them to get on with it. If it helps, the ultimate required height is about 3 metres. Thanks for any comments.
