    ..does it have bright brassy yellow flowers in Spring?

    No idea, we moved in in May so just trying to get to grips. I vaguely recall it may have. It looks similar to my parents' forsythia maybe?

    ..yes I think so.... you probably missed it flowering Feb/Mar....

    Thanks. I'll probably dig it up. It's gone a bit wild and I'd sooner have something taller there I think. Maybe a small area of blackthorn hedge, I think I've ran out of Sloe Gin!

    ...if that was mine I'd let it flower next March and then get rid... the flowers are nice..

    ...I like that fuchsia too... pretty little thing....
