Hi Mark, yes she is a Cavalier King Charlie called Molly, she is gorgeous. She loves cuddles and gives lots of licks! ]image(got her second hand on the internet, ex breeding dog)

  • Am I getting slow on the uptake, or is this a very odd thread?   image

Sometimes bananas do smell / stink..think it depends on where you buy from and how they have been stored. Some from SM's the skins smell of vomit I kid you not, terrible. image

Heck I misread don't want to chop spaniels up and put around my roses imageimage

  • Isn't it awful when bananas go soft & squidgy, yuk, but yes skins great for digging in around roses. Is it the potassium?

  • I buy green bananas and hang them among the tomatoes on the greenhouse to speed up the ripening.

When bananas over-ripen (rarely happens in the greenhouse - odd), I freeze them whole in their skins then use them to make banana bread/cake.

In Spain, they keep their bananas in the fridge and they don't go black - but they do in my UK fridge - another oddity.
