  • I understand what you mean Frank, our next door neighbours moved out at the beginning of the year. Their garden was so pretty and they had spent a lot of time and money on it. A few weeks ago our new neighbour had it all ripped out and either thrown in a skip or shredded. It is completly empty bar a few pots and the turf is right up to the edges of the fence on both sides. As you say we all have different tastes but it looks very bland and what a shame for all those wasted plants.

If I'd have known I would have bagged a few image

  • i flippin hate waste!image. i pity whoever takes this garden on! there is already 19 fruit trees plus ornamentals, if i live to the average age, it will be like the enchanted forest!image

such a shame to see plants thrown away

  • I know beks its such a shame,  I'm just glad my old neighbour can't see what her beautiful garden looks like now. She'd cry. The whole garden is just turf with about 6 pots. And we have big gardens.

  • Just to give you an idea, this is me at about 2.......

I hate waste too bekkie. Last year on the local news it showed a garden centre dumping barrow loads of perfectly good primulas and spring bedding just because the wind had blown them over and therefore were considered seconds!! I remember saying to the Boss that if I could get them all home I would find a place for all of them somehow. It was heartbreaking.image
