Joking aside, my image of you all is the allotment communal tea cabin, every shape size age and mix of personalities, they all have one common denominator and that is gardening. The potting shed on this forum is that tea cabin where we find those tiny clues that give us an idea of whom we are talking too. Over time we learn to trust those people, get solace when down and big hugs when the manure hits the fan, fun laughter and cake, serious talk and more cake, the occasional tear and more cake, what would we do without cake. I think if we all met by accident somewhere within minutes the common language of gardening would have us all going as if we had been friends for life. As I would tell my friends as I took to the dance floor with Flo, it is not how we look but how we perform. Love you all.

Busy, you put a pic of yourself on a thread a while ago.....I thought you looked lovely and just how I imagined you. And quite glam too

I too have met a few people so it has made me chuckle reading what you've written
I do know that those I have met have been lovely, and whilst not what I imagined in my head, you have all surpassed what I might have created for you
hope you havent got a beard Verdun, you would get cake stuck in it!
What do we make of Archie? Is he a lean mean gardening machine - or a slightly portly gentleman with a moustache? I'm going for the former
