Has anyone experienced quince virus and if so knows of a treatment

Can you describe the symptoms please? Only the only virus which seem to attack Quince are not that prevalent in Britain..........yet. Oh and which Quince? Cydonia or Chaenomeles?
My quince was not a happy bunny this year; the Chaenomeles were ok, it was the big tree, which I guess must be Cydonia I refer to it as a European quince as opposed to a Japanese quince. The leaves seemed to give up quite early in the late summer, and I only had 1 fruit.
I have sprayed mine for the last few years, it has improved the fruiting. Not sure what the spray was but it's base was copper sulphate.
