Potting on Auricula's

Hello,
My Grandad order some Auricula plug plants in the Summer and kindly gave me some at the start of the month. They are currently sitting in cell trays but look like they are ready to be potted on.
Is now a good time to do it or am I better off waiting until the Spring?
Thanks in advance.

To a certain extent it depends on what you are going to do with the plants after potting on. If they have a really good root system and there is no where for the roots to extend to in their present situation, then you are better potting them up as long as you then keep the pots protected over winter. They may not make a lot of new roots from now on, so you would need to keep an eye on the watering to avoid them sitting in damp compost.
I will be keeping them in my GH over the winter. Some seem okay in the tray but others are getting a bit too big so I may not need to do them all.
Thanks for your response.
I remember reading somewhere, I'll look for the book later, that Auriculas are relatively dormant after flowering ie the summer and start re growing from the autumn. I have some in pots which are in my cold greenhouse now and they are starting to produce new leaves. If I was you I'd pot them on but not into large pots and keep them moist but not too wet.
If I find out anything else I'll repost..good luck
