No for the tomatoes and maybe for the chillies. Chillies are perennial but don't always survive over the winter indoors; it depends on exactly what the indoor conditions they experience are.
Well I have the chilli plant now and it's doing good on the windowsill where it get light at the moment and the house will prob be around 15-20 c ??
Do u guys think it will survive?
i grew it from seed and it hasn't fruited yet I planted the seed quite late this is how it looks now quite healthy
daisy, it will be a matter of replicating summer growing conditions. Sunlight rather than daylight and temps hopefully in the 20s. It will certainly survive in lesser conditions but any cropping will be compromised.
Thanks Italophile I'm glad it should survive in my room
