Flipping stuff seeds everywhere and the seeds shoot out of the pods quite some distance!! I found this out by mistake when I first started gardening (20years ago!) my father-in-law gave me some and I planted it in good faith..... What a mistake!!....
As above it's pretty but bad news and you don't want to be responsible for introducing it into your local countryside...
Nasty invasive plant - get rid of it before you're totally surrounded and have to call for the cavalry. There are lots of references on this Board to HB and the damage it does - yes it's pretty, yes the bees love it, but don't be fooled and don't say you've not been warned. Pull it up, bag it and bin it, and then next year, late spring, watch out for all the lush seedlings that seem to grow overnight and pull them up before they have a chance to flower, and do the same next year - and make sure your neighbours do the same - Good luck!

not good news.it is persistent if it is that and you will need special help to get rid of it.I have to say it does not look much like it but photos are difficult.If in doubt and you didn't plant it say good bye to it.
I agree BURN it dont compost or you will spread it round the garden,dont use local council green refuse sites they do compost at higher temp. but you risk spreading it to anyone buying the compost,.even bagging it and putting it in the landfill rubbish bin will only spred it onto the landfill site and back into the country side.

Large flamethrower at the ready!! No, not really, but as everyine else says, get rid now.

It does pull up quite easy but do it before seed pods set then burn it fast
