Trailing Fuchsia and Grasses
Hi, I have four wall baskets that have about three trailing fuchsias in each basket, which at the moment are in flower. I would appreciate some help and advice on how to look after them overwinter. I am unsure what to do next, do i leave them outside or do i take them down, and pot them up and keep in the greenhouse.
Also i have a number of different Grasses growing in pots, which i must say some of which have grown quite big. Again i would appreciate advice on when is the best time to plant them in the ground, also being as some of Grasses have been growing in large pots, do i need to split some them to make it easier to plant them in the ground. As you can tell i am a newbie but eager to learn.

If the fuchsia are non hardy the pots need to go somewhere warmer over winter.
As for the grasses, don't move them now. In mid to late Spring they can be planted in the ground, having divided them if you want.

Hello pennymax - I've already added something to another "fuchsia" overwintering query which may help. Fuchsias like to be cold and frost-free in the winter, but definitely not wet. Please look at my other answer which is much fuller.
