I'd need a lot of hackles and I haven't got them so I just flatten before mowing. Have to be quick though or their back before I get the blades downimage

The mole catcher used traps and we watched him very closely, but we haven't had much luck yet. The cats have caught a couple - one of which they released in the bathroom. They can move fast, Welshonion, but on that occasion I was out faster!  I can assure you, it is a mole in my compost, rats do not make underground runs across the garden to the bin, they just walk in.

I had a mole/s last winter in the garden and in the spring I could see where the run/tunnel went all over the garden and I spent days digging these runs with a trowel to destroy them and I haven't seen anything since then (fingers crossed).

  • It was either in the late 70's or early 80's Jasper Carrott did a scetch about a mole. If you google Jasper Carrott mole joke there should be a youtub video. image
