wooden planter

I am the student I'm busy with the project where I have to list and cost the materials I will need to build a (1m length x 1m breath x 0.5 depth)wooden planter. I need help.

    That's really a maths problem rather than a  gardening one I think!

    If you simply work out the total length of timber required you can cost it from a Builder's or Timber merchant, and many of them have their price lists online which will make it easier. You can check the dimensions of the various types of timber there too. You'll need to factor in some small posts for the corners where the timber sides join, and also timber for the base. image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Just check on the How To tab at the top of the page. You'll find a list of projects including how to build wooden planters. You should be able to work out the materials you need from that. To price the materials you can look at the websites of DIY merchants such as B&Q or Homebase.

    That's easy to cost. It's the cost of a bag of 1 1/2 inch screws and use pallets for the wood. Basically free. If you put that forward as your answer, can't be anything other than correct and environmentally friendly.
