Filling up fast with Angels Trumpets, Cannas, Dahlias, Fuchsias,Bananas and Oleander. Where does the time go,it only seems like yesterday that I was shifting everything outside.
That is a fantastic sized greenhouse and so clean and neat and tidy.
My greenhouse hasnt been empty at all this year, or any year really, I have 3 of them and 2 conservatories and they are permanently full. As soon as the summer bedding was out they had tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries, then they were full of biennial seeds for next year, now full of perennial seedlings, all pricked out, the conservatories full with fuchsia and geranium cuttings for next year,
I need another greenhouse! I have bought new plastic covers for 2 of those that get shredded in the wind, the shelves are full already.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Well I have rather a lot in my GH atm, I have started bringing in plants that need some cover over winter along with those planted in old teracotta pots which aren't frost proof. I also have some seedlings, cuttings and small Auricula plants my Grandad gave me a week or so ago.
As you will see I have started my Bubblewrap but ran out my clips when I went to do the back panel and near the door lol So as soon as more arrived that'l be finished lol

I wish that greenhouse was mine. I wish I even had a greenhouse!
You make me seem positively lazy, which I am on occasions. Every year I resolve to be neater tidier and finish one task before starting another.
i have learnt not to overstock the greenhouse and therefore get better crops of tomatoes and peppers.
Digger one of the benefits of retirement is to indulge yourself, spending the kids inheritance.
