bay tree

i have a bay tree which is in a pot in my car port, the leaves have gone very manky looking and sticky, what can i do?

    Sounds like you have an insect infestation of some kind. Spray thoroughly with Provado Ultimate Bug Killer and don't eat the leaves for six weeks afterwards.

    Thanks Alina W. You have reasured me that I can spray my bay nobilis to try to rid it of whatever bug is folding over the leaves. I will gather and dry some good leaves first to use for the next 3+ months.  Maggie
