falling flower bed

Hi

I am about to break up and remove an old concrete path and replace it with stone paving. The issue i have is that the bed to the right is slightly raised - held up by brick and stone and various other means - and is slanting. If i remove the concrete it will potentially fall onto the path. How could i hold it up while i'm doing the work and afterwards to make it look nice?

Thanks in advance

Could you spread some builders sand on the existing concrete and pave over the top or must the concrete come out.

A photo would help. How about scaffold planks and some kind of brace at each end?

I assume you mean to put a different edging on the new path for the bed? If so, remove old edging, put new edging in place first and then lay path.

Hi Lyn. yes the concrete is all cracked and uneven so must come out. Artjak That sounds technical!

I think maybe you're right Hogweed - i'm just wondering if edging goes to that great a depth?
