    My introduction to wallflowers was a plant I didn't recognise a few years ago that had self seeded in one of my tubs. I managed to ID it from a local village plant stall. Since then they have grown very happily in my tubs and self seeded in cracks in the pavement and at the base of brick walls.

    They are a cheerful flower and add a lovely splash of colour in spring. What's not to like? image

  • Perhaps worth a mention....be careful where you source your wallflowers from, as being a member of the brassica family it's possible to import club root into your garden.
