Hi
While I was out walking I came across this plant. It smells lovely and I wondered what it was. Can anyone help please. Thanks.

It looks like the beautifully scented Viburnum Bodnantense - there are several varieties. They usually flower in midwinter when the leaves have fallen, but this is an odd year and mine has been flowering on and off since August

Thank you Dovefromabove. I think I'm going to get one for my garden.
There are several different varieties, Dawn and Deben are two popular ones. I have V. bodnatense 'Charles Lamont'

Yes I've just been looking at them. Is the 'Charles Lamont' perfumed? It doesn't say on the website I have found but it says that 'Dawn' is.
All the V.x bodnantense are scented, the difference between the three is the shade of pink of the flowers.
Thanks Berghill.
Thanks Patsy F. I was thinking of getting 'Dawn' as well.
