greenhouse for Aeonium arboreum

going to be building a lean to greenhouse out of wood and polycarbonate sheeting to house around 9 Aeonium arboreum in various pots and i few alpines. now the greenhouse will have the odd small gap as we are making it so it can be dismantled and stored out of the way when not in use. just how much ventilation should we have? also will i need to use garden fleece ?

Dry side in a greenhouse is fine. I would expect damage if the greenhouse falls below -2 and below so I would heat it or bring them inside on those nights.

    cheers dovefromabove

Verdun the gaps i meant would be the gaps at the end of the panels where the wood is warped. the fleece i thought for extra warmth

Blairs ... looking at a 60w greenhouse heater is cheap and i can be selective when i use it and in a small space like that should stop anything freezing. also bringing these in 2 are not a option as one weighs at least 50-60kg and the other half that.

the approx size of my green house will be L140cm D60cm H100cm will a 60w heater be good enough?

Space will be limited tho as the size im making it is just enough to fit what i have in

I always try to keep my greenhouse above 5C and have a paraffin heater. It is a similar size to yours and also polycarbonate. A 60w heater will be fine. If it has a thermostat then that would save going out and switching it off and on.

philippa smith2 last year/this year i lost one.  only started buying them last sept buying no more now. they were all kept in a cheap plastic greenhouse with fleece all dry but still lost one image. i just assumed i lost it to cold tho i dont think it was coldest we had in recent years.

i brought a 40 watt heater now so hoping thats enough
