We have discovered these berrys in our new garden. we have no idea what they are or if we can eat them. We have looked in all the books we can find & on the internet but with no luck.

Japanese wineberries I think, so yes, they're edible.
Yes they are indeed Japanese Wineberries and are edible
Thank you to both the above, I had started to freeze them in the hope they were edible.
I hope there may be enough to make a pot or two of jam.
