in Plants
Hi, My Echinacea plant has flowered beautifully all summer, but is now dying back. do I need to just allow it to die back naturally? or do i cut it back? Also can it just be left in the ground over winter?

It is purpurea, i really don't want it to die over winter.
you might want to harvest some seed at this time. We all love a freeby.
Also you can leave some of the seed heads for the goldfinches jn the winter.
I've got a purpurea echinacea which flowered beautifully. I've purchased a white plant and I was thinking of planting this next to the other one? How much space do each need?
Verdun...no label!! How much space is needed between plants??
