    Joe, I wondered whether there was a confusion between square metres and metres squared, but in the end I didn't have the energy to formulate a query about it image, so just went with the question as asked.

    Regarding the garden measurement I was having difficulty getting information on the average UK garden size or a standardised measuring system for them to go by so that was what I found, which is probably better suited for allotment spaces.

  • I appreciate the problem, Gulzar. My garden is tiny - 63 sq m (9 x 7), but my customers' gardens are anything up to 0.5 hectare.

    Hi Gulzar, I did the survey

    I've visited lots of gardens and I think it would be hard to find and average size. Anything between a tiny yard and rolling acres.

    Also we use acres, yards, meters (and any other measurement) at random, making it near impossible to sort outimage
