It is so warm here still that I have pelargonium still in full flower outside. Normally by now we've had a frost of a few degrees.
I'm keeping an eye on temps forecasts so I can bring them in in good time and will be taking cuttings of the more interesting flowered ones as insurance this weekend.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I have some outside too. We've had cold weather and a couple of frosts but they're tucked in among other pots and the garden's quite protected where they are, so they seem quite happy. I don't really like them but they were bought for a reason a few years ago and I haven't the heart to chuck them out
I'd like some of those dark Lord Bute ones though.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Not my favourite plants either but easy for hanging baskets and tubs in hot spots and when I find one with good strong colour I try to keep it. Not interested in growing fancies from seed so have to rely on local suppliers and they can be a bit bog standard.

My mum has a zonal pelargonium in her little patch of garden. It survived last winter and a few weeks ago I took several cuttings (following Monty's advice) into a mixture of MPC and sand. About half have taken....and the parent has regenerated outside
Shall I cut it back again? Or dig it up?
Now to watch the repeat of GW as I missed it last night,,,,

Cut all my Pelargoniums back today, same as Verdun
Barely a leaf to be seen, I can vouch that they do respond well to this with a bit of TLC

Dig it up Steve, last Winter was exceptionally mild, I doubt we will get a repeat of that.
Cut it back hard and pot up in fresh compost, keep somewhere frost free over winter, no heat needed.
Yes - that's what I thought. Glad it's not just my opinion then!
