Lavender cuttings
I took 6 lavender ( hidcote) cuttings a few months ago and they've all rooted, they're still only sprigs but I got a bit over enthusiastic today as had nearl 15 minutes in the garden!! I planted them out in the bed I want them in , along with all the grit they had in the pots, should I have waited? I wanted to free up a bit of space on my mini greenhouse, should I repot them ASAP? Thus is why I don't do well with cuttings, I rush everything

I would have nurtured them until spring. Not heat, I haven't got a heated GH but cold and wet is more of a killer than cold
In the sticks near Peterborough
I agree Nut, I'm keeping mine in a cold greenhouse until the spring.
Thanks I will tr to get a minute to dig them back up and pop back in their pots
Mike has sensible advice - don't despair - I sank my pots of rooted cuttings into the ground last year to free up the greenhouse for bulb pots and they have all survivied and made sturdy plants. They don't like pampering, though the bunny ears seem far more delicate than reliable hidcote.
