Digging up daffodil bulbs to replant

I've started to dig up some bulbs because they are in the wrong place and am going to replant them elsewhere.  Because i can't tell their exact positions I have managed to slice a bit off the side of a few of them.image Will these ones still grow happily?  The shoots are still intact.

Plant them - if the growing tip is intact they'll survive although they may not flower as well as they would have.

Try digging up with fork rather than spade and also keep fingers crossed image

  • Thanks Dove, the fork was so much better!  All now replanted.  Nothing more I can do now, except wait and hope.
