Take the flower heads off, let the leaves begin to die back. Put them in the ground and they will flower at the usual time, possibly not next year, but almost surely the year after.
You would need to pot them into compost and feed them to build the bulb up again. Don't cut off the roots. Normally , hyacinths grown in water in vases are regarded as disposable.

When my indoor hyacinth bulbs have finished flowering in water what do I do to keep them for next year.

Do you take them out of the water then cut of the long roots?

Thank you for your reply it has been very helpful. Just one more question do I need to keep them indoors or in a greenhouse?
