oops
I'm a week behind gw and just watched the one where Monty planted bulbs in layers in a pot, I'd been wonderuing if I could do this in garden also, now the only thing is, I did exactly what he said but... realised the tulips I planted are 'Christmas Pearl' and I put them in the bottom! have I made a complete mess?

How far down are they?

Despite the name, I think they will flower in spring. Are you worried that you have put them on the bottom and you think they will be the first to flower? You don't say what bulbs you have put on top of them but if they are daffodils or crocuses etc, your tulips will still be last to flower.
they are quite deep, large pot, out narcissus on top then miniature iris plan to get violas on top of those
I wouldn't worry about them - I think they'll be fine

It would only make a difference if they were the small species/botanical tulips and were therefore planted too deep to come through properly. They're much smaller bulbs though so you'd have noticed the difference. As the others have said - they're probably spring flowering ones and will be fine
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
For anyone thinking of doing this, a good rule of thumb is - biggest bulbs at the bottom, smallest at the top

Thanks all for advice, I was so pleased with myself for getting a little job done! Yes the bulbs were normal tulip size, narcissus smaller and irises smallest????
Sounds good to me!!!
