Digging up and replanting bulbs elsewhere - yes, or no?

Last autumn I planted a dozen Narcissus Spring Dawn near to the front of a border. They didn't start blooming till late March and the leaves didn't completely die down till the end of June.  The flowers were really lovely though and long lasting.  Is it too late now to move them to the back of the border?

The moles redistribute bulbs all the time in this garden. They (and the moles) seem to survive. If you are going to move them, then the sooner the better, before they really start growing again.
