Magnesium sulfate/Epsom Salts

Still having some issues with laurel, although i see new leaf growth i also see a lot of yellowing leafs. I was told try some Magnesium sulfate/Epsom Salts, but how do i apply this? put around plant to soak in? mix with water to spray? and how much.

Planted from pot about a month ago, should i lift up and break roots out, make sure they are spreading.

Thanks

1 tbs/15ml of Epsom salts dissolved in 1 gallon/5 litres of water and poured on the foliage using a watering can with a spray head.

Have you watered the laurel since you planted it?   It will take all winter for its roots to settle in and start spreading so don't go pulling it about.
