Identification needed

Could anyone please identify this caterpillar for me?   It is made up of a yellow stripe with a grey stripe underneath with red dots in it.  It is hairy and it was feeding on my plum tree. Two caterpillars were found on the

    It hasn't worked, thought it would be a link - if you google the above it is a site which asks Q's about the characteristics of the caterpillar then arrives at a number of possibilties with pictures.

    I think it's a caterpillar of the Grey Dagger Moth
