can anybody why my polyanthus are in bloom now?

The short period of cool weather followed by warmer weather has confused many plants into thinking they had gone through winter
I had one blooming for a few weeks in Summer! lol
Dont worry about, mine bloom all year through. Cut of the dead flowers and they will go on. Chop the whole plant right back to the ground about May when they finish flowering, they will soon be up again.
Mine never stop flowering really. The native primulas all have flowers just now
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
