Amelanchier not looking too healthy

I have a tiny garden and spent ages choosing a tree that wouldn't get too big. I settled on an Amelanchier which I planted a couple of years ago. It seemed fine last year, but this year it isn't looking healthy at all. It has black spots on the leaves and they are now turning brown and crispy at the edges. Any ideas?
