Mystery French plant
in Plants
Hi
This is my first post to the forum, hello everyone.
Lucky enough to be in the very sunny South of France last week where I happened upon this colourful plant. I thought it fabulous and would love to have it in my garden. Trouble is I have no idea what it is or if it would like/ survive our weather/ climate.
I would be grateful for any info or advice.
Thanks

It's Lantana camara, bedding plant commonly available. Needs winter protection ( bring indoors).
Is it Lantana camara?
It looks to me like a verbena - possibly the one called Spanish Flag, or something similar.
Not sure if it would be hardy in the UK - probably fine in the south west, so it depends where you live - it might survive with some protection - I'm sure someone who knows will be along shortly.

Ooops, I got waylaid by a cup of coffee - I see that plenty of people are around to help

t is a shrubby sage and not frost hardy so you would need to move it to a greenhouse for winter protection - https://www.rhs.org.uk/Plants/99415/i-Lantana-camara-i/Details?returnurl=%2fplants%2fsearch-results%3fform-mode%3dfalse%26query%3dLantana%2bcamara%26aliaspath%3d%252fplants%252fsearch-results
Wow, thank you for the replies, very much appreciated.
Live in South Lincolnshire so I am guessing it will be over-wintering in the greenhouse
