That will be little green caterpillars just search and pick them off. Remember to put them on the bird table.
My daughter has just done that Verdun, hers have come back with a new leasd of life. I just picked them off of mine.
I cut back my geraniums this year for the first time and had a second flush of flowers also the plants look lovely and healthy for the autumn. So thanks for the advice - cant remember who gave it to me now - could have been you Verdun.
I'm having the same trouble with my geraniums (pelargoniums). But I can't see any caterpillers. Leaves on some of them look like lace.
update: ahem, I've just had a look and saw a tiny green caterpiller. Too small to pick off. Must have been those pretty butterflies!
My geraniums have been eaten as well, thanks for the advice.
Its usually only one or two on each plant, not easy to see but they are there!
I have stocks as well Verdun, only small at the moment, I will keep an eye on them. Thanks.
Ps. I keep a pair of eyebrow tweasers for such jobs.
