Thanks for that Bev, I got so into the idea of using second hand stuff that I forgot you can get things cheap if you look around. I shall give that a go as well!!
Got some 3 inch plastic pots on ebay, 100 pots for £4.80, free delivery which I thought was good value. They arrived today (only took a couple of days) and they are ok. Oakland Garden Supplies.
