Inexpensive suggestions for improving garden

  • Thanks for the tips. There is only about a metre of space at the front (bottom of the picture) unfortunately. I think removing the path is definitely worth doing and we will have a think about what we do at the bottom of the garden (I think a mix of skinning over the concrete, trellises and sleepers around the edge might be the way to go).

    Hello , you could block pave over the concrete 

    so lighting would be nice and patio heater/log burner to keep warm !

    I would get a few garden design books out of the Library for ideas 

    what ever you do best of luckimage

    You could always combine a little corner - bottom right of your pic - with the path so that you can have room for a seat there too. image

    Take your time with it - do a bit of planning and thinking so that you have what's right for you and your needs. There's a seed swap thread here too so you can try growing some stuff yourself to save money  image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
