Sorry to hear about the really hard time you and your Mum have had.  I am glad though that you have started reading mags, catching up on the forum and starting your autumn tidy up.  It will take time but take consolation that you are carrying on something that your Dad loved.  The plaque sounds a great idea.

  • Hi Mark, good to 'see' you again but very sad to hear what a terrible summer you have had.  Hopefully you can find some comfort from us on here and from your garden.  Your dad with his love of gardening would not have wanted you to be unhappy, he will be the with you in your garden and maybe even guide you when choosing new plants.  I hope you can find some peace and comfort in your planning.

The plaque is a lovely idea, maybe put in a bench or a lovely bird table?

  • Good to 'see' you back Mark. So sorry to hear the sad news about your Dad.

He will be with you in the garden and in your heart. And what wonderful memories you must have of him.  Lovely idea about the plaque Mark, as OL said maybe on a bench,    in a favourite part of the garden.

Take care, my very best wishes to you and your Mum. Hugs xx

  • Thanks all for your kind thoughts

You're up early Mark.  Sorry about your Dad.  My dad died about 20 years ago. Mum still with us. She's 92 now but very frail.  I hope your garden sees you through this horrible time.

  • Sorry to hear your sad news Mark.    I hope your garden brings you consolation and much joy again image
